sometimes, i miss the rain. but then, people mention freezing rain in the middle of april, and i'm forced to admit: 70 degrees and sunny doesn't suck. so i miss rain with the smug satisfaction of knowing that i can wear sandals all year round, and i may (may!) have to bust out a coat for, oh, a month.

I doubt the Ocean would notice if you pooped in it. It's giant and filthy and filled with murdering unholy creatures that poop in it all the time, then swim around in their own poop and call it an "ecosystem"
