Last night, Lolo and I were sitting around watching old episodes of Intervention when a commercial came on for Quiznos. I can't find it on YouTube, but its the one where Quizno's wants you to buy this big meaty sandwich and there's a girl who says "It has more meat which is what real women need...." and then laughs and screams like she's getting a hot sandwich straight up the pooper. I hate her.
Lolo hates her too, but she said "You know what commercial I really like? The one with Snapple's White Tea, where the guy goes to the tea farm and meets the little man who plucks tea leaves...and he has an accent."
I had no idea to what she was referring. Some of you may know, but for everyone else, she means this.
But the commercial wasn't on at the time of this explanation, so she had to re-enact it. I laughed so hard I almost barfed. Fortunately, I was dicking around with my camera at the time, which also has some piss-poor video capabilities. I'm going to post a couple different versions of it. Obviously, there was more than one take. Again, sorry for all the backlighting. It's kind of The Dark Show in this series.

I apologize for all the shaking. I was laughing too hard. And I lied and told Lolo that the camera wasn't on anyway. So we ended up redoing it.
This was round two.
We gave round three a valiant effort, but as you can tell, by the end she wanted no more of it. She's saying "I want to cancel, I want to cancel..."
She finally got it, as you can see here, but I thought that one wasn't as funny. But check it out if you'd like.
Next up, I'm going to ask her to re-enact the Snickers commercial where the lady tells you what to do when it's round about three o'clock and yer hunger is pokinatcha pokinatcha.
you know how when you search for something on youtube, say, a stars wars movie clip, you find endless idiots who have decide to re-enact scenes and post them on youtube, and you are left sitting there saying, "why would these idiots put this on youtube?"
I think you should do an entire series of these reenactments. You could start with commercials and then move on to movies. We could watch 15 takes of you and Lolo saying, "nobody puts Baby in a corner." Classic.
oh my god, i'm dying. first of all - you know the quiznos ad! i kind of want that woman to die. i hate her in a way that kind of scares my roommate. the way she says "real women" like it's both sexy and funny - when it's NEITHER... gr... and... this... these... are brilliant. thank you for shedding light on one of the most serious issues of today... terrible commercials.
Thank goodness these are terribly lit and it is nearly impossible to tell who that crazy girl is! I will begin to take request for my next commercial reenactment. We can get a series going on Youtube. It'll be great!
